Sunday April 10th—1pm
Course 1:
Heirloom tomato summer vegetable taurine finished with a blueberry chili oil
--Served with Weyerbacher Merry Monks
Course 2:
Pistachio encrusted pork medallions with a fig chipotle aioli topped with seasoned parsnip ribbons
--Served with Ithaca Apricot Wheat
Course 3:
Crab fondue topped with roasted corn salsa
--Served with Breaker Brewing Company’s Special Goldie’s
Course 4:
Pan roasted chicken on golden pomme de terre purée finished with a rich blood orange brandy sauce
--Served with: Victory Headwater Pale Ale
Course 5:
Home made hashed potato fritters stuffed with a chive and mascarpone cheese
topped with a roasted red pepper coulis
--Served with Stegmaier Summer Stock Pilsner
Course 6:
Doughnut and espresso soup
--Served with Special Edition Long Trail Coffee Stout

$10 FOR AS MANY BEERS AS YOU WANT TO ENTER, FREE IF YOU ARE ATTENDING THE BEER DINNER ON APRIL 10TH

:

TWO BOTTLES OF THE BEER AT LEAST 12 OZ, MAKE THE BOTTLE CAP AS ANONYMOUS AS POSSIBLE ,IE. BLACK OUT ANY PERSONAL MARKINGS

ENTRY FORMS AND LABELS:

ENTRY FORMS WILL BE AT THE BAR ON DROP OFF, ON YOUR BOTTLES WE WILL NEED A LABEL CONTAINING

1. YOUR NAME

2. YOUR PHONE NUMBER

3. CATEGORY OR STYLE OF BEER WHICH YOU ARE ENTERING AND WHAT YOU NAMED THE BEER

THE BEERS WILL BE IMMEDIATELY PUT INTO A PAPER BAG TO RETAIN ANONYMITY AND THEN STORED IN OUR COOLER UNTILL THE CONTEST WHERE NO ONE WILL TAMPER WITH THEM.

JUDGING INFORMATION:

BEER ENTRIES WILL BE JUDGED IN THE CONTEST CATEGORIES PROVIDED BELOW.

ALES: PALE ALE, INDIA PALE ALE, WHEAT BEERS, FLAVORED WHEAT BEERS, NUT BROWN, STOUTS, PORTERS, FLAVORED STOUT AND PORTER, BELGIAN STYLE, ENGLISH STYLE, SPECIALTY STYLES (UNIQUE BEERS)

LAGERS: GOLD LAGER, AMBER LAGER, BOCKS, HELLES LAGERS, DARK LAGERS, DOUBLE BOCKS, AND TRIPLE BOCKS, FLAVORED LAGERS, SMOKED LAGERS AND A MISCELANIOUS LAGER CATERGORY

BLIND TASTING WILL BE USED, THE BREWERS IDENTITY WILL BE KEPT SECRET.

FEEDBACK WILL BE GIVEN TO THE BREWER.

BEER WILL BE JUDGED ON: APPEARANCE, AROMA, TASTE, MOUTH AND FINISH.

ALL JUDGING WILL BE AS FAR AS POSSIBLE AND COMMENTS WILL BE CONSTRUCTIVE.
