From RedRock:

We uncovered three cases of Secale in the cold-room last week. We’re selling it today only (Monday) at the Red Rock Beer Store with a limit of 2-bottles per person - while supplies last.
It won’t be in the cooler…you’ll have to ask for it.

When it’s gone, we will post a notice on the Red Rock Beer Store facebook page. Cheers!

SALT LAKE CITY, UT – It’s that time of year, when beer lovers across the land begin suffering from “Pumpkin Ale fatigue”.

Fortunately, the brewers at Red Rock Brewery have been coming to the rescue for 20-years with their cult-like holiday seasonal release – Griswald’s Holiday Ale.

Griswald’s Holiday Ale pours a golden-amber color with a bright-white head.  It has the sweet smell of nutmeg and clove with a subtle hint of gingerbread.

The taste is delicious. Far from bitter…not overly sweet.  It’s a well-balanced, medium bodied ale with flavors of gingerbread, cinnamon, and orange-peel.  This beer offers a sleigh-load of holiday cheer at 8.5% ABV.

Griswald’s Holiday Ale is available at all Red Rock Brewpubs and a limited number of UDABC stores, restaurants and beer bars. You can buy bottles to-go at the Red Rock Beer Store, located downtown at 443 N. 400 W.  Open Tuesday through Friday from 11-7pm and Saturday from 11-5pm.

A lighter version of this Holiday Ale (4.0% ABV) will be sold exclusively through Harmons Grocery stores and will be packaged as Red Rock Brewing Holiday Ale.  Look for it on store shelves beginning the first week of November.
