Off Color Brewing Adding NewTaproom In Lincoln Park

imageFrom Chicago Business:

The Chicago-based brewery, known for its monochromatic bottle labels and niche beers, has applied for licenses to open a second brewery and its first taproom at 1460 N. Kingsbury St. in Lincoln Park, co-owner John Laffler confirmed to Crain's.

Roughly half of the 8,000 square-foot space will be devoted to brewing and barrel-aging, while the other half is dedicated for a taproom with capacity for roughly 150 people.

Half of the taproom will look much like a straight-up tavern, with a long, wooden bar and long beer-hall-like wooden tables. The other half will be a quieter, lounge-like space with couches and other upholstered furniture that overlooks barrels and wooden vats used to age Off Color beer.
